FAQ'S

• State Issued Driver's License 
• Military ID
• PA Photo Identification
• Current Passport 

All forms of ID must be current and include your photo and signature. this is required for all interested parties: Buyer, Seller or individuals signing affidavits/ all Notary services.

• Individuals and/ or all parties involved in the notarization of any/ all documents must be present with valid ID. At no time will a document be notarized if 
• All parties are not present, 
• Prior signatures are on the document.

If a witness to the transaction is required and/ or wanted by the signing parties, they should be someone you know personally but has no interest/benefit in the transaction.

PA Requirements

• Title
• Seller and buyer with valid ID. 
• Mileage
• Proof of Insurance
• Bill of Sale with: name, address of BOTH the buyer and seller with phone number. Also Year, Make, Model, VIN, Mileage and Purchase Price.  
• VIN Tracing/Photo

Out-Of -State Requirements 

• Title
• Seller and buyer with valid ID. 
• Mileage
• Proof of Insurance
• Bill of Sale with: name, address of BOTH the buyer and seller with phone number. Also Year, Make, Model, VIN, Mileage and Purchase Price. 
• Properly  Assigned Title/MCO from the seller to the buyer with all appropriate notarization in place. 
• VIN tracing
• Weights/ weight Ratings: GVWR and GCWR. * Not all states provide this information. Your title will not be processed by state without this information. Complete MV-41 and certify as required. 

One of the following showing the vehicle is insured : 

• Valid Binder of Insurance
• Insurance Identification
• Declaration Page of Insurance Policy
• Application for Insurance to the Pennsylvania Assigned Risk Plan

Lost and/or Damaged Titles must be replaced. Complete MV-38O. This form NO LONGER REQUIRES NOTARIZATION. 

Satisfaction of a Lien: a lien release letter must be provided  from the lien holder. 

Use Form MV-426B. This form must be completed by an Enhanced Safety Inspection Station. PA salvage titles are done here. All others must be mailed directly to the state.
